Artist Statement
A powerful beacon of growth and new beginnings, the butterfly signifies the power of transformation and the incredible feats we can achieve when we trust ourselves.
In the series of 3 brooches featured, the blue butterfly slowly emerges from the surface, ready to spread it wings and fly.
Bio
Isabelle is French and lived for 20 years in London. She is now back in Paris. After a 15-year career in finance and banking, she felt the urge to express herself differently and decided to retrain academically. She obtained an HND in jewellery in 2008 and a Research MA in 2010 from the Sir John Cass Department of Art, Media, and Design (London Metropolitan University).
She now shares her time between creating original jewellery and travelling to exhibit her work.
