I started writing this blog on the flight back to Auckland from Wellington last year after the Te Auaha show…the blog was full of could have, should have, would have’s bla bla! The show was about process and our HS6 journey’s, much like stopping off for a coffee while doing a road trip, a brief moment of reflection, and a chance to regroup, nourish the mind body and soul before setting off again…

I decided to blog the experimental images of the work and the interplay I had while hanging it in my own domestic/inside/outside space before the exhibition, alongside the gallery reading of the work… will it allow me to see new work, or will it reveal old ideas in a new light?

I adore the image of the sheets/dust cloths hanging outside the back door, waiting to be brought back in and folded away, or are they to be taken further out into the garden to be aired? ‘The visitors’ arrival or departure?  Will this start a new direction…?
