‘ON-E’ masterclass workshop
The 2021 HS6 masterclass was facilitated by the dynamic and inspirational jeweller and educator Estela Saez-Vilanova
Estela challenged the HandShakers’ different assignments in the format of making short videos.
Their goal was to explore innovative ways of exhibiting art online.
The critical analysis that took place during the Zoom sessions became integral in informing further iterations of their individual works.
TASKS:
Make an advert for a solo underwater exhibition.
No jewellery/speaking about your jewellery.
Exhibit a piece of your jewellery in a group show on Mars.
Feature only ONE piece of your jewellery.
Design an installation for a solo exhibition using the colour you were given.
