Jan Dobbie
Artist statement
My methodology is a strict, rule-bound process that includes a practical, reimagining of found objects and the “waste” from making them into contemporary jewellery pieces. Another vital component is gathering the resources from the street, road, and environments I am in contact with. I chose to work with these materials because they are in abundance.
