I completed my BA, majoring in Contemporary Jewellery at Whitireia NZ in 2018. My work revolves around environmental issues and spiritual beliefs such as impermanence and non-attachment. During the past few years I have focused on making burnt wood jewellery pieces. Being able to transform the destructive power of fire into a force of positive transformation is what inspired me; that beauty and preciousness can be found in seemingly adverse conditions. Currently I am working with paper as a material to express ephemerality.

Through participation in HS6 and my mentorship with Manuel Vilhena, I want to deepen my conceptual development, diversify my skills, and free my approach to jewellery making.
