A while back I posted a blog about a conversation I had with one of my pieces which was the result of a performative exercise that Peter Deckers asked us to do.
(The conversation, Aug 4, 2020)

Here is a conversation I had with another piece, picking up from where we left off…suggesting shouting this time.
Still feel uncomfortable about posting this… feels a bit pretentious, even though I believe the message to be true.

N… Maybe I should scream at you?
P… You don’t need to be loud to be heard.
N… How about whispering?
P… Yes, it is kind of intimate. We could tell each other secrets.
N…What is your secret?
P… I am a flasher.
N… (I burst out in laughter)
P… I reveal the hidden.
N… I had something that was revealed to me a few weeks ago in my dream.
It was also black. This is freaky. But it was quite murky around it, not nice and white like you.
P… You are a pure being, everyone is. You just can’t see it anymore. You’ve forgotten.
