Marquette – brass, spray paint, hot glue
This is me having an easy play for an outcome that I would like to do using mild steel and wire by wielding. I’ve got to say there’s something in using a hot glue gun!!
Essence is something I have found in all three of my artist. That something special, mainly gained by process and materials. Hence why I have chosen my materials steel, and process – wielding. Skill level to be improved however my disclaimer is that it’s about the essence rather than the technique. Good old kiwi ingenuity will pull me through!!
By using very common materials used by artist, builders, farmers ect it has a weird sense of familiarity. At first a little alarming in its commonality but then I very quickly embraced it and felt right at home. Especially as it’s all over my property and half my studio!
