We are now well into our second year of Handshake6 and recently it has been go go go.

We have started our online masterclass with Estela Saez which has been fantastic so far (more on this soon!), I had a great chat with Lisa which provided lots of things to think about, we’ve started planning our end of year group show and fundraising, and on top of all of this, Radiant Pavilion in Melbourne is coming up very quickly.

Anyway all of this is a bit of a back story (and let’s be honest – an excuse) for why I’ve been a bit silent on the HS6 blog recently. But good news is that, with everything that has been going on, I’m going to have a lot to share very soon – so watch this space!

Following is a photo essay of some recent things from my studio and research… including; lots of material play, samples and tests, research into the stages of recycling plastic, learning TIG and MIG welding, drawings and idea generation as well as continuing with my daily collecting practice and visual archive.
