Its been a busy summer with not as many uninterrupted days in the workshop as I would have liked..but still somewhat productive with some other exhibitions on the go and great time spent with the family.

I have resumed skype and conversations with Judy and now have Mary Beard on the required reading list.

With only a couple of weeks till our show at Toi poneke, we talk about display, editing, rethinking troublesome bits and pieces.  my most favourite work possess evidence of process..signs of making.. some of my most favourite things are unfinished, a bit feral… scrappy but full of potential. I recognise the creative process for me is not linear …there is always quite a bit of to and fro to be done.
